Slack integrations allow your team to generate and receive Dreambase reports directly in your preferred Slack channels. Set up the integration once, and your team can request dashboards and analytics using simple mentions or slash commands.
Setting Up a Slack Channel Integration
Go to Integrations:
In Dreambase, select “Add Channel” under Slack Integrations.Select Slack Workspace:
Choose the Slack workspace where the Dreambase app is installed.Choose the Channel:
Pick the Slack channel where you want Dreambase reports and commands to be available.Invite the Bot:
Invite the @Dreambase bot to your selected channel using:
`/invite @Dreambase`
This step is required for the integration to function.Configure Project Scope (Optional):
Link the integration to a specific project, or leave it workspace-wide for access to all projects.Add Channel:
Click “Add Channel” to complete the setup.
How to Use
Slash Commands:
Use `/dreambot` followed by your request:
`/dreambot generate a report for User Activity` (where User Activity is your project name)Report Links:
Reports links are returned to directly access the new report in the browser.
Tips
Add the bot to every channel where you want Dreambase functionality.
Use clear and specific requests for best results.

Troubleshooting
If the bot isn’t responding, check that it’s been invited to the channel.
Confirm you’ve selected the correct workspace and channel.
