After connecting to Supabase, onboarding is a breeze!
Connect to Supabase
We require a connection to an active Supabase organization to get things started.

Authorize API access for Dreambase
We request the most minimal permissions possible, mostly Read with only Read and Write for SQL queries (required by Supabase MCP)

Select a Project
If your Supabase connection was successful you should be able to select an active Project (project must be active), and Start Analysis.

Analysis Steps
Creating secure connection
Setting up your secure connection to SupabaseScanning your Supabase project
Reviewing tables, relations, storage, and moreCreating insights for your project
Writing a detailed understanding of your projectAnalyzing security and performance
Reviewing RLS, indexes, logs, and performanceGenerating report recommendations
Creating ideas for useful analytics reportsFinalizing project metrics
Thoroughly analyzing your schemas and tables
Storing Supabase Schema
After we establish a secure API connection, we pull down the Swagger JSON schema of your database and store as global context for all your projects and reports in Dreambase. You can click View more… to see the full schema:

Toggle the tables to see the deep understanding we have of your columns:

Scanned Schema Insights
We then take that schema and scan it with our AI agents to create a human readable understanding of your database which we will also use as global context moving forward (you can edit this later in Integrations):

Pre-Assessment of Supabase
One of the Pro features of Dreambase is a detailed best practices Supabase "Report Card" which is an audit and assessment of your Postgres database where we find security issues, performance issues, and recommend fixes. In the Onboarding we give you a preview of that review:

Create your first report
The final and most critical step in Onboarding is to create your first Report Project! Toggle to read the requirements written by the Dream Team of agents and pick your favorite one to get started. You can click refresh to try another three ideas.

toggle open a recommendation and click Create Report to proceed:

or if you know exactly what you want in a report you can skip to your workspace and create your first Project manually:
